The Antioch Baptist Bible College and Seminary Library has about 10,000 books in its holdings, not counting periodicals or journals.
The Antioch Seminary library has many complete sets of commentaries, Bible encyclopedias, systematic Theology books, as well and thousands of individual commentaries on individual books of the Bible.
The library is named in honor of Dr. Walter L. MacMillian (aka “Dr. Mac”) one of the school’s long-time teachers.
Dr. MacMillian served for many years as the vice-president of the college.
Library Expansion
Antioch is in the process of remodeling one of its classrooms and expanding the library. Many of the books we have are not on display because the school does not have the bookcases to put all the books we have in the library. We are working to resolve that problem.
To keep the library uniform and have the reinforced bookcases (stacks), we will build them. These shelves will be the same size, quality, and workmanship of the shelves the school already has. The school need the funds to buy the lumber. We will build them, stain them, and install them (secure them to the walls).
Each wooden bookcase will cost about $125.00 to buy the wood, build, paint, and install.
The school will need 18 additional new bookshelves. When we get the funds in hand for the first nine, we will build and install those bookcases.
We thank the Lord that in April we received a special donation ($250.00) from a couple to build two of those bookshelves. Another donation of $250.00 is expected to be received in May which will take us to $500.00 of our goal of $2250.00 for the bookshelves (or 22%).

Additional Theological Books Accepted
At present Antioch Baptist Bible College has about 10,000 books in its library. We are looking to expand our holding to better serve our students. If you have theological books, bible studies, or commentaries you would like to donate to the school, please feel free to drop them off at the Bible College in Cartersville, GA. If someone is donating a pastor’s library (10 to 20 boxes of theological books), please call the school. We could possibly send a truck to pick up the books for such a donation.
The seminary is also desiring to purchase used individual commentaries to complete the commentary sets we have that are missing certain volumes. As funds are donated for this purpose, the school will acquire the lacking volume.
